Horizon Capital, the Israeli venture capital firm, appoints Tom Kaverman as its new Value Creation Manager. In her role, Kaverman will oversee the firm’s marketing strategy, lead its FoundersSpace community for the portfolio entrepreneurs, and support the startups’ go-to-market processes in the fund’s portfolio.
Kaverman, 29, is an MBA graduate and holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She began her career at Israel’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and continues to be a communications consultant at Minkowsky Communications, advising tech companies such as Deel, Fresh Start Foodtech Incubator, and biotech firm Nucleai.
“In my previous roles, I’ve seen firsthand the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit that make Israel unique,” said Kaverman. “At Horizon Capital, I look forward to helping new startups achieve global success. Over the past decade, the firm has guided dozens of companies from early stages to follow-on funding and celebrated five exits, including the recent $2.1 billion sales of Own Company.”
Managing Partner Yaniv Jacobi said, “Tom’s expertise is a valuable asset to our team and portfolio companies. She has already played a key role in our rebranding efforts, and we’re excited to welcome her to Horizon Capital as we continue to grow.”
