After Horizon Capital (formerly known as Oryzn Capital) led Vee’s Seed round, the current round is led by TLV Partners, with participation from SOMV, Meitav Dash, Disruption Ventures, and existing investors. The funding brings Vee’s total investment to $21 million since its inception.

After a challenging phase, Vee raises $7M to bolster its AI-driven nonprofit management solutions in the U.S. Originally aiming to facilitate connections within the nonprofit sector. Vee has pivoted to developing autonomous virtual agents, like Maggie and Grant, which assist organizations in automating social media and grant applications, respectively. This pivot, supported by Yaniv (Jacob) Jacobi, Horizon’s Managing Partner, comes as a strategic move to maintain operations with minimal staff while serving over 100 U.S. clients, emphasizing the nonprofit sector’s slow technological adoption despite its vast size and economic impact.

Founded in 2020 and led by May Piamenta and Avi Maor, Vee specializes in creating dedicated AI Agents for nonprofits worldwide. The platform features two primary products: Maggie, a virtual assistant for creating, automating, and managing social media for organizations, and Grant, a tool for grant applications that boasts success rates comparable to those of human professionals. Within a year of the pivot, Vee already serves over 100 clients in the U.S., including well-known organizations such as the Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies, Cloud Veterans, PCOSAA, and Lights and Sirens.

May Piamenta: “Our two most significant achievements were that our key investors continued to believe in us, and our team remained committed throughout the transformation process.”
